Avera Select Academy is designed for athletes who want to continue playing basketball competitively in spring/summer, but still want flexibility to be involved in other activities.  

In 4th-6th grade tournaments are optional for Spring Academy teams.  Athletes sign up in advance for tournament weeks and only pay when they play.

Options for rostered teams will be given in 6th-8th grade with a set competitive schedule in spring/summer. 

Avera Select fall/winter rostered athletes do not try-out.  This is an extension of their season and they will be given the option to commit to a team before try-outs.
